Social Networking and Widgets

NearSource has worked with commerical and open source social network site development tools and frameworks to both build social networks sites and complementary widgets. This includes experience developing Facebook widgets and Web 2.0 social networking applications for key clients and startups, such as MyBetBook and Wayzon.

Content Management Systems

Our team has both developed and worked with a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS) and platforms for a broad range of clients, from solutions we custom-developed, such as the HyperGenius® platform, Open Source CMS and Portal platforms such as DotNetNuke, Drupal, and Joomla!, and commercial CMS implementations such as Ektron CMS400, Microsoft SharePoint Services, and Telerik's Sitefinity. Our team has also developed customized content management tools for clients for simplified, in-context editing solutions for sites not requiring full CMS implementations.

Real-Time Data Validation and Verification

Working closely with 3rd party data services (Nielsen CLARITAS, TARGUSinfo), sales lead providers, and sales lead brokers, we have developed several applications which provide real-time information verification, validation, and screening, and have experience integrating these systems with advertising and affiliate networks in order to provide real-time rejecting of duplicate or invalid leads from pay per click or pay per lead referral services.

E-Commerce Solutions

NearSource has specific expertise in the development of transactional web platform for a variety of e-commerce applications, including real-time reservations, online store functionality, and other secure, web-based transactional applications. We also have specific expertise with commercial and Open Source e-commerce solutions such as StoreFront from LaGarde, osCommerce, CRELoaded, X-Cart, and Magento. We have also developed custom e-commerce and transactional platforms and applications, such as Veristay®.
